It's been a while

Well, we are all moved in and trying to get used to Fayetteville. So far we love it! Just gotta find a doctor for me. That is the hardest part because, #1 I don't have my records from my previous dr #2 it's taking 20,00000,00000,000 years to get my insurance. My doctor has had 2 whole weeks to mail it off but she's sitting on it not writting off the approval for me. Why do things have to be so frustrating sometimes? Jack is doing good. He's adjusted well. He rubs and kisses my belly every night before bedtime. He tells Brooks good night. So sweet. Jack gets excited when we say our night time prayers too. I know he's a pain at times, but he is the sweetest boy ever! We are going to Oklahoma on Saturday for some Charity thing. The radio station has to be there so we figured it would be neat if Jack and I went along. Not really much going on. Just trying to get used to new things and places.

Just shooting the breeze

This past weekend was kind of fun. My family and I went up to Carbondale to do some shopping and had lunch at 17th St BBQ. That was one of the best BBQ I've ever had. LOVED it! I got Jack some stuff for his new bathroom. That kid costs us so much money! He got a monkey and frog shower curtain with matching soap dispenser, rugs, and towels. They are SOOO cute. Can't wait to hang them up. Then we headed on up to Mt. Vernon to stay the night with my grandma and grandpa. They are so funny. We had a good time up there. My grandparents has this game called Aggravation (it lives up to it's name) and grandma loves that game. Grandpa and I were on a team and Roger and my grandma were on a team. Let's just say the cheaters (grandma and Roger) won twice. I called them the black widows. Sneaky cheaters! My grandpa is a General Baptist pastor so we had to go to church with them on Sunday. Not that going to church is bad at all. I love it but my grandparents really force it on us. Of course, grandpa asked me to sing and I did horrible. Never been so embarrassed in my life over singing. But, I got through it and did my best. We went to the Air Port to have lunch. They have a buffet there and that's pretty much the "Sunday" ritual for grams and gramps. Too bad the weather was rainy and cold yesterday. Jack would have loved to play outside. They have a huge yard that you can run around and just have a blast.
Jack is being so silly today. He's got his jean jacket on, running around the house, and being silly. He's obsessed with Jackets. I have no reason why! I have got to get the major packing going. Gotta clean so much. That's one bad thing about moving. Gotta clean your mess up!! The hard core cleaning too. Guess I wouldn't mind it so much if I wasn't pregnant. Just have no energy to do it!!! WOW, I have said a lot.

First time blogging EVER

So, this is the first time for me to do this. Always wanted to but kind of shy to do it! Where do I start? Guess just start with today. What a awesome day it has been outside. I laid Jack down for a nap and went outside. Got a book, sat under the sun, and read. It felt so good to feel the sun shine down on me. When Jack woke up, we went to the park and played. He LOVES going to the park. I only take him when the big kids are in school. If not, it's craziness!! We are moving to Arkansas next week and I can not wait! Yes we move a lot but I want this to be the last move for a very very long time. It's part of radio but we've got a family and it's time to settle down. I thought Batesville was a great place but things happen and better jobs come along. Oh well. Life goes on. Ha, like that TV show. You know, Corky....O blah dee oh blah da...Life goes on and on. Lol...I'm a dork. Baby Brooks is doing good. He's moving like crazy and has the hiccups all the time. My due date is still July 11. Hope I can survive the hot weather. I think Jack is starting to catch on to what's going on. He rubs my stomach and kisses it. It's so sweet. He's gonna be a great big brother. Roger is happy that he will be back on the air. He hated sales and it's just not something you wanna do. I know I wouldn't! Having people tell me no and drop show's would put me on fire! Even though Roger hated it, he did very well and made friends. I fell bad that Roger has to leave his friends and family but I'm very happy we are moving. This may sound selfish, but I will have friends again and family! Can't wait. Ok, I've rambled enough and I'm getting hungry. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope it didn't bore you. Chicken Tortilla Soup is on the menu tonight. Got to get it cooked, ate, and Jack into bed before The Office comes on. LOVE that show!
